Sensei Valentin's Accomplishments (Cont'd)

In 1985, Valentin Sensei joined Shotokan Karate of America
Organization under Master Tsutomu Ohshima. He trained for several years with (SKA) in New York before moving to the Rockland County area in 1995. In addition to Shotokan-Ryu Karate, Valentin Sensei has also studied the Okinawan-Ryu (Style) of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu & Okinawan Goju-Ryu. In 1995, Valentin Sensei became a member of the SKJF (Shotokan Karate of Japan Federation) & founded Shotokan-Ryu Karate Dojo-USA in Orangeburg, NY (Rockland County).
Valentin Sensei is currently a member of SKIF-USA and Black
Belt Holder (Yudansha-Kai). He was promoted to the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt (Yon-Dan) by Kanazawa, Kancho in '2007. He continues to train under the tutelage of Charles E. Lee, Sensei ( Godan). He regularly attends SKIF-USA Seminars and Black Belt Instructor Courses sponsored by Senior SKIF Instructors & Technical Committee members. |
