Sensei Valentin's Accomplishments (Cont'd)

In 1985, Sensei Valentin joined Shotokan Karate of America
Organization under Master Tsutomu Ohshima. He trained for several years with the SKA in New York before moving to the Rockland County area in 1995. In addition to Shotokan-Ryu Karate, Sensei Valentin has also studied the Okinawan Styles of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu and Okinawan Goju-Ryu. In 1995, Sensei Valentin became a member of the SKJF (Shotokan Karate of Japan Federation) and founded the Shotokan-Ryu Karate Dojo in Orangeburg, NY (Rockland County).
Sensei Valentin is currently a member of SKIF-USA and Black
Belt Holder (Yudansha-Kai). He was promoted to the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt (Yon-Dan) by Hirokazu Kanazawa, Kancho. He continues to train under the tutelage of Sensei Charles E. Lee II, Godan. He regularly attends SKIF-USA Seminars and Black Belt Instructor Courses sponsored by Senior SKIF Instructors & SKIF-USA Technical Committee. |
